This video was taken on June 27, 2005 in a wetlands reserve in Palm Beach County, FL. These are Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks    Dendrocygna autumnalis. It appears that this is a family, two parents and 3 newly fledged chicks. One chick is trying out his new wings. The whistling sounds you hear are actually the ducks.

QuakerVille was started in 1995 and has operated as a personal non-profit web site since that time. I am experimenting to see if associating with Amazon will enable me to continue to maintain QuakerVille as a high volume web site.

The QuakerVille sites are rated G for the entire family,
 including your parrot, to enjoy!
